J&K Colleges Spot Round Admission for Non-CUET Extended till 14th August 2025

The Government of Jammu and Kashmir, Directorate of Colleges has announced the extension of the Spot Round admission process for Four-Year Undergraduate Programs (FYUGP) and Integrated P.G. Programs with multiple-exit options for the academic session 2025-26.

This extension applies to CUET Colleges (Annexure A & C) as well as Non-CUET Colleges (Annexure B) for leftover seats.

Key Details of the Extended Schedule

1️⃣ Spot Round Registration & Seat Selection:

Last Date: 14th August 2025, 5:00 PM
Eligible candidates can register and select programs/colleges through the Samarth Portal for available spot round seats.
Admission will be given on First-Come-First-Serve basis if more than 30% seats are vacant (as on 31st July 2025).
If less than 30% seats are vacant, colleges will prepare a merit list based on 10+2 marks and publish it on their websites.
Candidates who missed earlier rounds or failed to complete admission due to fee/payment issues can also apply.

2️⃣ Completion of Admission Formalities (Including Fee Payment):

Deadline: 18th August 2025

3️⃣ Shifting of Students for Majors with Low Enrollment:

Dates: 19th to 20th August 2025
Students enrolled in majors below the prescribed admission limit may be shifted to another college/major as per JKHED guidelines.

4️⃣ Completion of Admission Process:

Date: 20th August 2025

All other terms and conditions mentioned in earlier notifications (No: DC-HE/2025/1152 dated 15-06-2025) remain unchanged.
