Admission Notice: 4th Year Honors & Honors with Research under NEP 2020 – UG Batch 2022
The Directorate of Colleges, Higher Education Department, J&K has issued the official schedule and guidelines for Admission to the 4th Year of the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP) under NEP 2020 for the UG Batch 2022.
Important Admission Schedule

Colleges have been categorized into:

Annexure A → Colleges offering 4th Year Honors (without Research)

Annexure B → Colleges offering 4th Year Honors with Research

Admission for own students must be completed by 25th August 2025.

Vacant seats will be displayed on the Directorate Portal for students of other colleges.

Students can apply for inter-college admission by filling preferences between 27–28 August 2025.

Admissions for other-college students will be on merit basis up to 6th Semester marks.

Students are advised to regularly check respective college websites and stay in contact with admission convenors.

Minimum batch strength for any subject (with/without research) is 10 students.

Research supervision will follow a faculty pooling model where required.

University guidelines regarding eligibility, migration, and minor subjects shall apply.
